Take a Deep Breath
Children of all ages can benefit from mindfulness. Mindfulness can help children improve their abilities
to pay attention, to calm down when they are upset, and to make better decisions. In short, it helps
with emotional regulation and cognitive focus. But, mindfulness is a big concept for young children to
understand. This session will answer the questions: Why is it important for adults to be models for
mindfulness? How do we teach mindfulness to young children? |
