Following the Leader

Who should lead the learning in an early childhood program? If children can be trusted to lead their
own learning, what does this look like? How do educators learn to “let go” and accept not being the
smartest person in the room? This discussion will explore the benefits of developing creative,
independent thinkers in an environment where the children are the leaders in their learning.
