DescriptionStop simply talking about AI and start making it work for you! In this immersive, full-day workshop, we move beyond the basics to help K-12 educators reclaim their time and supercharge student engagement. Whether you are an AI novice or looking to deepen your skills, this session provides the space to build and create.

Morning: Your New Teaching Assistant
We’ll start with a deep dive into the "why" and "how" of AI. You’ll gain hands-on experience with Google Gemini, NotebookLM, and more to streamline your workflow. You will learn powerful prompting techniques to:
- Generate classroom newsletters and rubrics in seconds.
- Personalize differentiation for diverse learners.
- Organize and synthesize complex curriculum resources.

Afternoon: Empowering the Modern Student
After lunch, the focus shifts to student impact. Learn how to responsibly lead your students into the world of AI using safe, education-first platforms like MagicSchool/MagicStudent and SchoolAI. You’ll discover how to:
- Create "Spaces" where students interact with AI as a tutor or collaborator.
- Maintain full oversight and ensure ethical AI use.
- Use AI to provide instant feedback and spark student creativity.

This is not a "sit and get" session. You won't just see a demo—you’ll actively build. You will walk away with a suite of ready-to-use resources, from differentiated lesson plans to interactive student activities, giving you a massive head start on your school year.
