| Description | | In the modern math classroom, the path to mastery is rarely a straight line. As educators, we serve as the master cartographers, helping students navigate the terrain from "math anxiety" to "math confidence." This workshop provides a map for teachers looking to bridge the gap between rote memorization and true mathematical fluency. We will cover topics such as:
- Math Roadblocks
- Conceptual Understanding
- Number Sense and Flexibility
- Interventions
Anyone who teaches K-12 math is encourage to join the Great Math Trek.
This event will be taking place in the South Building - AB Conference rooms.
Lunch will be one hour on your own.
Title II-A stipends will be given to staff who are members of the ESU 7 Title II-A Consortium. FREE for those within ESU 7. Those outside of ESU 7 will be charged a $50 materials fee.
