DescriptionAre you in your first 1–3 years as a Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher, counselor, or administrator? Are you a high school counselor navigating course registration, course coding, career development, or dual credit? A building administrator stepping into the world of CTE for the first time? Maybe you’re new to CTE funding, including Perkins and the CTE State Grant. Or perhaps you’ve joined a district with a strong CTE growth plan and are wondering what you’re inheriting.

If you answered “yes” to any of these, this workshop was designed with you in mind!  Join us for the New to CTE Workshop, a fun, informative, and supportive session focused on all things CTE.

You’ll gain a clear understanding of:
  - CTE services and support available through your ESU
  - State-level CTE requirements, updates, and resources
  - The big-picture view of CTE—from programs and pathways to funding and compliance

Whether you’re in the classroom, counseling office, or main office, you’ll leave with practical knowledge, helpful contacts, and greater confidence in navigating CTE in our region.

This is an in person only event, taking place at ESU 7 in the north building, Oak/Maple conference rooms.

Come get connected, get informed, and get energized about CTE—we can’t wait to welcome you!

Stipends available for teachers pending Perkins approval.

FREE for those within ESU 7. Those outside of ESU 7 will be charged a $50 materials fee.

Lunch will be one hour, on your own.
