DescriptionWhat are the instructional moves that have the greatest impact on student learning? Join us for an interactive workshop focused on two evidence-based, high-leverage practices that can strengthen Tier 1 Core instruction across all grade levels and content areas.
In the morning, participants will unpack the essential components of Systematic and Explicit Instruction and explore how intentional lesson design improves clarity, engagement, and learning. In the afternoon, the focus shifts to designing Quality Student Practice and Response that keep all learners actively engaged and promote deeper understanding and mastery.
Throughout the day, participants will move beyond theory by working directly with their own high-quality instructional materials and curriculum to identify opportunities to strengthen instruction. You'll leave with practical strategies, concrete examples, and ready-to-use ideas that can be implemented immediately to enhance Tier 1 Core instruction and improve outcomes for all learners.
NeMTSS Region 3 Support Specialists will be presenting.
This is an in person only workshop.
Lunch will be one hour on your own.
