| Description | | Understanding ACEs, Behavior, & Brain Development in Early Childhood
Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) is a term used to describe stressful or traumatic events experienced by an individual before the age of 18. ACEs can have a lasting effect on health and well-being for children and adults, including higher risk of chronic disease.
However, ACEs can be prevented, and their effects can be lessened. In this training, you will learn about ACEs and the brain, acquire practical strategies for building resilience and improving wellness, and learn techniques for behavior management.
